How We Plan It

Start from the stand, then clear.

Ryan walks the property with you, looks at your stands and plans the work before the machine starts. Bring your stand locations and any trail camera photos. They make planning faster.

A forestry mulching head grinds brush and small trees into mulch right where they stand. You choose what comes out and what stays, so cover and the bigger trees can be left in place.

What We Clear

Get your land ready for fall.

Shooting Lanes

Narrow lanes planned from your stand, angled so deer cross instead of walking straight at you.

Travel Corridors

Open up the routes that move deer through your property and keep them clear.

Stand Access

A mulched path to your stand so you can get in and out quietly.

ATV Trails

New trails cut in and old ones opened back up, wide enough for an ATV.
Questions

Before you call.

Don't see your question? Ask Ryan on the quote form.

How wide should a shooting lane be?+

Keep them narrow, often just one or two mulcher passes wide. You get a clear shot while deer still feel covered as they cross. Read the full shooting lane guide.

When should I clear hunting land?+

Late winter through early summer, after the season closes. That gives the ground time to green back up and gives deer months to settle before you hunt. Avoid clearing in the weeks right before season.

Can you work in winter?+

Yes, snow depth permitting. Ryan can also work in wet areas, but not swamps.

Can you cut new ATV trails on my land?+

Yes. Ryan can cut new trails or reopen old ones, wide enough for an ATV or truck.

How is hunting land work priced?+

The price depends on acres, how thick it is and access. Ryan walks the land and gives you a clear number. Jobs have a $1,000 minimum. If there are multiple jobs in the same area, they can be bid together as a package.

How far will you travel?+

Ryan will travel anywhere in Wisconsin, with a travel fee per mile.
